Smith Wedding

Here are photos from the wedding I did yesterday. There were 9 different kinds of cupcakes: Red Velvet, Banana Split, Pumpkin Pecan, Hostess Look-a-Like, S'mores, Vanilla/White Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Turtle. It was a lot of work, but I had fun making them all.

Fall, Halloween, and Mice Cupcakes

I haven't blogged in two months, but I've been baking cupcakes! Here are the photos of what I've been up to. The cupcakes are chocolate w/vanilla or chocolate swiss merignue buttercream frosting, and pumpkin w/cinnamon cream cheese frosting. The mice cupcakes were for a 1st grade class for rodent appreciation week. I've never heard of rodent appreciation week before and I can't exactly say that I do :). They were fun to make though. I'm doing cupcakes for my first wedding in two weeks so I'm excited to do that and I'll post photos of it as soon as I can. Lizzy :)

Blue and Green Lollipop Cupcakes

This was an order I filled for lollipop cupcakes for a little girls birthday party. They were going to use the cupcakes as favors for her friends. The cupcakes were yellow cake w/vanilla swiss meringue buttercream frosting swirled with blue and green, and corn skewers for the stick with a blue or green bow.

Chocolate-Covered Peanut Butter Hi-Hat Cupcakes

I made these for my boyfriend's 27th Birthday and I also entered them into the baking contest at our local fair and won first place. They were chocolate cupcakes w/peanut butter frosting, covered with a chocolate coating, and topped with chopped peanuts.

Colorful Butterfly and Flower Cupcakes

These are vanilla bean cupcakes w/white chocolate swiss meringue buttercream frosting tinted green, topped with a colorful butterfly, and orange flower.

Almond Joy Cupcake

This is a cupcake version of the candy Almond Joy. It's a chocolate cupcake w/coconut flavored swiss meringue buttercream frosting that has unsweetened dried coconut mixed in, a whole roasted almond on top, and then dipped in melted bittersweet chocolate.

Happy Birthday Cupcakes

These were ordered by my boyfriends Mom to be taken to Missouri as early birthday presents for Her daughter and son-in-law. They were cookies and cream cupcakes with homemade chocolate cookies with J's for Jana and carrot-ginger w/orange-ginger cream cheese frosting, and walnuts for Zac.
