My Wedding Cupcakes 6/9/12

These are photos of the cupcakes from my wedding.  We had red velvet and my hubby Eric's were chocolate/peanut butter.  I made them from scratch with help from family and friends.

Wedding Cupcakes

Here are the 9 dozen cupcakes I did for a small wedding on March 3rd. There were three varieties, chocolate/chocolate, vanilla/vanilla, and red velvet. I also did my first jumbo cupcake, it was chocolate/chocolate. Lizzy

I made these to be auctioned off to raise money at a yearly family reunion. They are chocolate/peanut butter with dark chocolate peanut butter filling topped with a mini peanut butter cup. Red velvet w/vanilla cream cheese frosting and cookies n' cream with cookie pieces in the cupcake, frosting, and topped with a cookie.

Lime Cupcakes

This is a buttermilk lime cupcake w/lime cream cheese frosting. The cake and frosting is flavored with fresh lime juice and zest and topped with a lime slice sprinkled with sanding sugar.

Easter Themed Cupcakes

These are vanilla cupcakes w/vanilla swiss meringue buttercream frosting, pastel confetti sprinkles, and a pastel chocolate egg on top.

St. Patrick's Day Cupcakes 2011

I made chocolate cupcakes w/vanilla swiss meringue buttercream frosting, green sugar, and green fondant shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day.

Turtle Birthday Cupcakes

This was an order for a little girls 11th birthday. They were chocolate cupcakes w/chocolate swiss meringue buttercream frosting, and green white chocolate turtles I made on top.

6 Dozen Cupcake Assortment

This was an order I filled for a 6 dozen cupcake assortment to be given as a Thank You. There was 5 dozen chocolate cupcakes with 3 different frostings, chocolate, vanilla, and mint. 1 dozen was red velvet with vanilla cream cheese frosting.

German Chocolate Cupcakes w/Chocolate Glaze

These are chocolate cupcakes topped with a chocolate glaze and german chocolate topping.

Valentine's Day Cupcakes 2011

These are chocolate cupcakes w/pink white chocolate swiss meringue buttercream frosting, jelly hearts, conversation hearts, and valentine's themed sprinkles.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cupcake

This is a peanut butter cupcake with mini semi-sweet chocolate chips mixed in, topped with peanut butter swiss meringue buttercream frosting, and sprinkled with more mini semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Christmas Wreath Cupcakes

These are from Christmas they were chocolate cupcakes w/coconut swiss meringue buttercream frosting, topped with gummy wreaths, and holly and berry sprinkles.

Smith Wedding

Here are photos from the wedding I did yesterday. There were 9 different kinds of cupcakes: Red Velvet, Banana Split, Pumpkin Pecan, Hostess Look-a-Like, S'mores, Vanilla/White Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Turtle. It was a lot of work, but I had fun making them all.

Fall, Halloween, and Mice Cupcakes

I haven't blogged in two months, but I've been baking cupcakes! Here are the photos of what I've been up to. The cupcakes are chocolate w/vanilla or chocolate swiss merignue buttercream frosting, and pumpkin w/cinnamon cream cheese frosting. The mice cupcakes were for a 1st grade class for rodent appreciation week. I've never heard of rodent appreciation week before and I can't exactly say that I do :). They were fun to make though. I'm doing cupcakes for my first wedding in two weeks so I'm excited to do that and I'll post photos of it as soon as I can. Lizzy :)

Blue and Green Lollipop Cupcakes

This was an order I filled for lollipop cupcakes for a little girls birthday party. They were going to use the cupcakes as favors for her friends. The cupcakes were yellow cake w/vanilla swiss meringue buttercream frosting swirled with blue and green, and corn skewers for the stick with a blue or green bow.

Chocolate-Covered Peanut Butter Hi-Hat Cupcakes

I made these for my boyfriend's 27th Birthday and I also entered them into the baking contest at our local fair and won first place. They were chocolate cupcakes w/peanut butter frosting, covered with a chocolate coating, and topped with chopped peanuts.

Colorful Butterfly and Flower Cupcakes

These are vanilla bean cupcakes w/white chocolate swiss meringue buttercream frosting tinted green, topped with a colorful butterfly, and orange flower.

Almond Joy Cupcake

This is a cupcake version of the candy Almond Joy. It's a chocolate cupcake w/coconut flavored swiss meringue buttercream frosting that has unsweetened dried coconut mixed in, a whole roasted almond on top, and then dipped in melted bittersweet chocolate.

Happy Birthday Cupcakes

These were ordered by my boyfriends Mom to be taken to Missouri as early birthday presents for Her daughter and son-in-law. They were cookies and cream cupcakes with homemade chocolate cookies with J's for Jana and carrot-ginger w/orange-ginger cream cheese frosting, and walnuts for Zac.
